Rob Rufus on Glorious End-Time Worship

"How essential it is, right now as we stand at the consummation of the ages, as history is about to be summed up and concluded in Christ, that we be captured and capitulate to the beauty of our God. We will certainly see mass repentance among the lost if we would cut away everything that caters for us and invite the Spirit of God to take us into a realm of glory reserved for a ‘last days people’".

Rob Rufus on Experiencing Conciousness of Sin

"If we impute sin to ourselves (despite being legally under the righteousness of Christ) then it will still exist in our own conciousness and will still have the same effects as if we actually WERE under sin - condemnation, guilt and so on".

Rob Rufus on "Moral People"

"So you have got moral people in the Church who don't raise the dead, who don't see signs, wonders and miracles, they don't lead others to Christ - they are morally good people but inside they are full of dead men's bones, full of death, fear, guilt, condemnation and they are powerless because the Gospel has been falsely preached as right living when it is, in fact, right BELIEVING".

Jerry Bridges on the Sin of Doctrinal Pride

"If your Calvinism or Arminianism or dispensationalism or views concerning the end times or your disdain for all doctrinal beliefs causes you to feel doctrinally superior to those who hold other views then you are probably guilty of the sin of doctrinal pride".

Bill Johnson on Invading the Impossible

"He has the right to expect the fruit of the impossible from those He has created for the impossible. The Spirit of the resurrected Christ living in me has disqualified me from the mundane and the ordinary. I am qualified for the impossible because I am a believing believer. Faith qualifies me for the impossible".

Bill Johnson - "Dreaming with God" - Destiny Image Publishers, Shippensburg, PA (2006) - p177.

Bill Johnson on the Kingdom of God and Seasons of the Spirit

"His Kingdom only knows increase and acceleration. It is the hunger of God's people that helps accelerate the process of development and growth and actually speeds up time. It is my conviction that God is trying to get rid of our excuse concerning "seasons". Many have lived in spiritual winter for most of their lives and called it 'God's dealings'. The metaphor of the seaons have become an excuse for moodiness, unbelief, depression, inactivity and the like. It must end.

There is a message for us in the cursed fig tree. Jesus cursed it for not bearing fruit out of season. It died immediately. Was He unreasonable? Did He lose His temper? Or was He showing us something about His expectations for our lives that we'd just as soon ignore? He has the right to expect the fruit of the impossible from those He has created for the impossible".

Bill Johnson on the Prophetic Holy Spirit

"One of the assignments of the Holy Spirit is to let us know what is to come. If you read commentaries and various reference materials, you will notice most think the promise of knowing what's coming is all about us being aware of coming calamities. Theologians tend to focus on problems because few truly believe in the glorious church. Everyone from world leaders to musicians, to actors and business leaders are telling us of coming calamities. We don't need the Holy Spirit for that purpose when people without God can do it. Rather we need Him to see the coming glory!".

Bill Johnson on Giving Away What You Receive

"Give away what you have already received. Never underestimate what hungry people can "pull" from you while you minister the Word. Being in a place of continual giving is a sure way of getting more".

Bill Johnson - "Dreaming with God" - Destiny Image Publishers, Shippensburg, PA (2006) - p133.

Bill Johnson on Anointing and Revelation

"Revelation means 'to lift the veil' or 'remove the cover'. Revelation gives us access to the realms of greater anointing available to us to make that truth a personal experience and lifestyle. The greater the truth, the greater the anointing needed to demonstrate that truth to the world. Anointing must be pursued not assumed (see 1 Cor 14:1). The measure of anointing that we carry reveals the measure of revelation we actually live in".

Bill Johnson - "Dreaming with God" - Destiny Image Publishers, Shippensburg, PA (2006) - p131.

Bill Johnson on Revelation

"Revelation is not poured out to make us smarter. Insight is a wonderful benefit of this encounter but our intelligence is not God's primary concern. His focus in revelation is our personal transformation. Revelation leads to a God encounter and that encounter forever changes us. The encounters can be stunning experiences or the simple moments of being immersed in His peace; but they are markers along the journey of "Thy Kingdom Come". Without the encounter, revelation makes us proud".
