"I don't want to listen to people criticising the Florida Outpouring if they are not seeing the same amount of healings. If you are against that then show me what you are doing! If all you can give me is head knowledge from the Bible then don't come near me - I don't want to be associated with you. You have a form of godliness but you deny the power".

All we have is the bible. It is not about experience, emotion, or what gifts are being presented. It is about the written word of God.
I find your words offensive
"If all you can give me is head knowledge from the Bible then don't come near me"
What are you trying say here? Are you anti-scripture. Is it not divinely inspired, or is there more to it (extra-biblical)?
If a Oneness church experienced a outpouring, would you then believe it to be true, even though their church is un-biblical? The same goes for the Catholics.
Rob Rufus, the apologetic community is watching you and NCMI, and unfavorable reports are coming out from SA and Aust.
Mark,
Actually we have the Word and the Spirit. Rob's not ultimately talking about experiencialism and emotionalism, he's talking about doing what we were meant to do, as in heal the sick, cast out demons, cleanse the lepers and raise the dead. He is saying that people are criticizing and they have no right to, when they are not seeing these things take place in their own churches or ministries, or even trying for that matter.
If you find Rob's words offensive then you have a problem with God's word, because he is speaking straight from Scripture, 2 Tim. 3:5 ....talks about people with a form of godliness that deny the power, have nothing to do with them.
No I do not believe Rob is anti -Scripture, just actually listen to him preach!!! And this whole quote is spoken in response to his knowledge of Scripture.
And God can cause an outpouring to occur anywhere he wants!
I am pretty sure Rob is not even phased that you are threatening to be watching him, he is confident in God and his God is for him, so who can be against him, it is God who justifies who is he who condemns!!!
Amen Lydia - exactly what I was going to say! Just to add - Mark, if you find these words offensive, then may I recommend you avoid any of my blogs or Lydia's because you WILL find a lot of Rob Rufus on them. For your own blood pressure, stick to Mahaney, Macarthur and "safe" evangelicals.
thankfully for all of us it doesn't matter how unfavorable any report may be unless it's coming out of heaven! So let the reports come out of sa and aust. or anywhere else, we who live in the new covenant understand that we have God's unchanging favor because he is faithful to honor his word to us.
